Michael Florea's two papers on engineered cellulose production from bacteria are out in the prestigious journal PNAS and in Scientific Reports.



This Synthetic Biology & Materials project started from 10 iGEM undergrads in 2014 and is now two research papers, a start-up and more. A selection of the news articles about our June PNAS paper are below.
